My computer won't let me get on the hotmail website for some reason. I type www.hotmail.com in my address bar and this is what it turns to. I just get a blank white screen...

dump your browser cache and try to refresh the page. You using IE (Internet Explorer)? Then again you are trying to access a M$ run site:lol :lol

SHIFT+F5 doesn't do anything for me in Internet Explorer 6.0 on several machines I've just tried it on. :dunno

Check your time and and date settings. Make sure they are correct. Also set all your security and privacy settings in IE back to default level.

Ha!!!!!!!!! I got it. It was my stupid AdShield Pop-Up blocker. I disabled it and BAM I got on both sites. :jump

Just didn't occur to me since these were actual sites, not pop-up ads. I've never seen a blocker stop something from loading from the address bar. I'll know now though.
