I need to create a powerpoint presentation for class. Does anyone know where I can get a free copy, or maybe download a basic version with limited features. I'd like to get this done in the comforts of my own home, and not go to the school's library. I'm running windows ME. Thanks a lot!

No, there is no such thing as a free version of PowerPoint. The Library or school sounds like your best bet for a free version.

I hear the OpenOffice and 602Pro are pretty good progs for free.

If you're really, really, really desperate ... you can make WORD work (in case you haven't thought of that already). But if you have do a live presentation w/ a ppt file on a projector, you will be laughed at. Other than that ... :dunno
