whats up fellas? i looped a 2nd gear standup today and my bike got hurt a little. the right side got rashed like a bitch. im goin to chek out ebay for the plastics. but i need a clutch cover and ive been trying to find one but no luck. does anyone know of a website that has the clutch covers? thanks. oh yea i got a 02 R1.

Call Pat Weekly at Riva YAMAHA. Don't have the number right off hand, just do a google search and u'll find it.

He'll give u a great deal on OEM Yamaha parts shipped to your door.

thanks for the help. that riva yamaha place only goes up to year 2000. would a 00 clutch cover fit a 02?

thanks fellas. one more thing is it ok to use the old gaskit? or do i need to get a new one? the old one came right off without ripping so would that be ok to use again?

Have you checked the Yamaha web site? If you get the part # that might help you out with a dealer or they can just order it for you. Where were you riding?

i just checked the yamaha website and got all the part numbers. i wish you could just order parts right from that site directly from yamaha. but ill have to have my dealer order the shit for me. oh i was riden here in dartmouth southeast mass. i can see in your profile that your in boston. hows the riding up there? nice weekend huh? did you go out?

New gasket for sure my friend... only a few bucks at the most. Not worth the hassle of a leak. Good luck.
