Can ya help me in finding keyless gas caps for my 2002 R1? I checked Lockhart Phillips, but just wanted to see if there were other dealers or shops out there. Thanks and see ya on the tracks!! :jump

Vortex makes them. Any bike shop that deals with Parts Unlimited can get them. If you have any problems finding one shoot me an email and I can get one for you

If you could, please put me on the path.....Lockhart Phillips won't even talk to ya unless you're a dealer......ebay doesn't have any listed and I'm wondering if it's easier to hook up with Jenny McCarthy compared to getting a keyless gas cap....:rant Okay maybe that was a bit too far fetched!! Can ya point me in the right direction? Many thanks!

Thanks again guys, Lockhart and the others wouldn't send to APO addresses, so I ordered one from Red Racing Parts in Italy! Pretty expensive, but hell it's tax season!!!!

You know I bought one on ebay for $40 shipped. I did not like the way the cap looked when shut. It' was crooked just like the on in your picture. I thought mine was the only one like that, I guess not.:dunno

Backing off the cap that small of an increment (to true horizontal/straight) will not harm anything, its not like gas will leak out with that fine of thread pitch :thumbup
