This has to be the best forum and the best sportbike in the entire world!!
Just a little background info. about my riding experience. I learned to ride on a GSX-R750..Yosh pipe, jet kit, down one on the sprocket. I then moved to a CBR 900RR..D&D full system, jet kit. These were all calculated steps to prepare me for the BEAST that is the R1!! I could not imagine jumping right on this bike as a new rider....it is way too awesome. You can read all of the motorcycle reviews in the world and none of them will prepare you for the exhiliration!! The torque, the handling, the power...I will never ride anything else. When I'm old and gray, I'll have to get extra strength Depends so that I may pee my pants every time I twist the throttle!!
