I just traded in my 03 FZ1(25,000miles) on a new 05 raven R1. Just wondering what performance mods are good. I am thinking about velocity stacks, termigoni slip on and power comander. Is the termigoni a good slip on as far as power and does it come with the new y-pipe or are there better slip on's, I liked the look of the two brothers also. How hard is it to program the power comander into the bike...and what kind of horsepower gains can i expect from the slip on, velocity stacks and power comander?

I got the slip on Yosh pipes, they sound the best to me. Didnt come with a Y pipe, so i just gutted the cat myself, and used the stock one, works like a charm. Power commander is easy to install, and program. Just go to the website, download the program for your bike. There are only 2 for the R1 as far as I know. One for a full exhaust system, and one for a slip on. Download them to a laptop, plug in the cable, click the load button, and your done. Since i gutted my cat, and have a few extra mods, i had mine dynoed and custom mapped, that works REAL well. Damn, what a difference. but download them both, and see which one feels better, or performs better.

There's about 20 maps on the powercommander site for the R1. Slip-ons will not produce a big increase in HP, so pick the setup that looks best to you and go with it. :yesnod
