Now that I've got the hotbodies undertail, it has an "integrator" that makes one side of the brake light flash for the turn signal. Problem is, you can't really see it flash all that well. So I've been looking for new turn signal ideas. No good place to mount any sort of signals w/out looking stupid or messing up the clean look of the undertail.

I finally got this idea... custom integrate them into the stock tail section as LED's. Put my plan into action and wired up a test on a bread board. Worked great so last night I set to working on it.

These pics are mid-install. I have the left side done now... haven't started the right yet. These LED's are yellow and fuggen BRIGHT... even brighter than my tail light.

Here's some teaser pics... I'll post more when I get it completed and in better lighting.

Hey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is badass. If I was'nt trading in my 01 , this looks like it would have been a job for my rotozip. Are you gonna silicone around the led's at the insertion points to keep out water or use a rubber backing to secure from inside? Simple yet elegant.

Used a hot glue gun on the inside to secure them. The plastic tail is actually black plastic also, so I painted the inside of the holes w/ red model paint so the black doesn't show. :D

That's a sweet idea Jester. Mind if I steal it for my bike. I'm putting an integrator kit in my bike and just chopping the fender completely off the stock undertail and painting it. I'm also planning on getting a high mount, probably the devil high-high mount. Your blinker setup looks tres cool.
