Just want to say a quick hi from sunny and warm Florida.
I've been stalking, but not posting-till now.
I was riding a RC51 and sold it. Now I have a R1-which
was purchased Oct 12th.
Not many mods, just some carbon fiber. I also added a clear
alternative brake/running/turn light and threw out the mudflap.

Thanks for the warm greetings. Yea, I need to change my username.
I'm from Tallahassee, which is on the panhandle part of FL. Just north
of the gulf of Mexico. Some nice roads up here, its really not like south
FL at all.

Actually I grew up on inlines.
I had a Fireblade, then the RC51 and now the R1.
Have to admit that I really like the sound of the gear driven cams and
thump, thump sound.
But I do like the growl of a R1. Can't wait to get some 'cans.

Those bikes are prestine! Nice looking fireblade I might say. Same for RC51 too. But you made a wise decision to upgrade.

Welcome, I had a VFR and the sound from the gear driven cams drove me crazy but the exhaust sounded great. Good luck with the R1
