1st oil change. I bought a used 04 two weeks ago and want to change the oil. Already drained it, now ready to get the cap and and realized my used bike does not have a tool bag. HOW the hell am i supposed to get the plug out? High of 76 tomorrow and im buggin to ride. Any suggestions for other tools?

THe filler cap ? i use te end of a 15mm ring spanner.

sorry, the top one to fill it. Ive been beating with a screw driver and hammer until i looked down and saw a 12mm monkey wrench that the round side fit right into and it came out easy as pie. I got it, Thanks though. What a weird tool piece needed.

just buy one of the replacement caps, so you don't need anything to close it.

I have found the replacement caps to be better. Anything to eliminate the use of a tool is good.

I replaced mine with a Harris Performance oil cap. I thought the stock one was annoying.
