I am so stupid, so so stupid:no :no :no As I wrote in an earlier thred "Please help o1 air mix screws" I was trying to adjust them. To make a long storrie short I could not do it, well I didnt want to take carbs off the bike, I dont know if they will need to be re synced after removal, and I am not a bike mechanic so I decided to leave that to the experts. Any way I put the bike back to gather carefully, and started it to make sure everything was still in good shape. It ran for a while then started to shake and sputter and finally wouldnt run @ all. "Oh no" I thought, I fucked it up inside so take it apart and check everything again, well this goes on for about a day and a half I call bike shop after bike shop, no one knows. " Bring it in" they all say. Yea so they can charge me 200.00 bucks for something trivial I should be able to fix myself. Well tonight I finally figured it out, any one guess what it was yet ?

I forgot to turn the feul lever back on!  :no

well i know from experience the shops in my area would at least charged you and hour or two of the going shop rate just to look at it then laugh like hell untill you got to pay the bill.one time before i had enough courage to adjust my own valves i had a local shop do it on my old fzr 600. at the end of that summer i blew 2nd and by the time spring came around i had read enough to fix it my self well after i was done the bike would not run for [email protected]! so i took it to the same shop that did my valves the summer before and they said my valves needed adjustment i said you just did it last summer W.T.F.
turns out the guy who did the job was fired and they would not stand behind his work and would not even give me a break on the hourly rate so with a big F.U.:bash :machinegu :bs i did the valves myself and it ran better than ever so needless to say i do my own work now and extended warranty is PO PO:ugh
sorry about the book but shop stories get me
L.O.A.T.D.(lack of attention to detail) will get you in the ass every time.
