I am looking into buying either a Scotts or an Ohlins dampener. I am curious about all the different mounts for the Ohlins. What one is the best? I like the mount right in front of the gas tank. Is that the best one? Any info would be great.

The thing with the Ohlins is you will be able to use your stemstand, where with the Scott's you wont.
