anyone having problems with your oil light?Mine keeps comin on and i know thers oil in the bike!It comes and goes drives me nuts!anyone have any answers or suggestions?
Correct me if I am wrong, but this year there was a change to the oil light sensor setup. It was done to eliminate false oil light illuminating. I would have the dealer check it out. Also, You could try to top your oil off to the full and see if that helps. Good luck...Michael
Chris, what you experienced is very common. The oil light sensor detects the oil level (not pressure). The light comes on if it drops about 4oz from full. At this point, you aren't even close to being in trouble. It gives you a lot of advance warning. That's a good thing! :thumbup Just top it off after the ride. :yesnod
thanks for the help guys! Im gonna keep her a little higher than usual.I do ride alot of wheelies im wondering if that has anything to do with it also.
