I was just reading the installation instructions from the Dynojet site, and it says that I need the 9v power adapter to use the PC3R with my '02 R1. Is this really true? I hadn't seen anybody post about it on here, so I'm just making sure. I wish I'd known before I ordered my stuff from Kneedraggers, since I don't see it on ToBeFast.

Thats only if you need to upload maps without the bike on.
Otherwise no need for it at all.
