This is a how-to, not a discussion of whether or not you should or shouldn't do it. Please keep that in another thread, unless you are an idiot and have a reading comprehension problem in reading this paragraph.

Parts Needed:
Plate Flipper
12 guage wire
16 guage wire
12v relay
1 20 amp fuseholder with fuse
Radio Shack push button
soldering iron

Cut your current mount short and bolt the plate flipper to the mount. Run the 12g wires up through the middle hole and over to one side, then run them up under the rider's seat. Put the relay there and wire it in. See wiring diagram for how-to wire it in.

See this thread:
http://www.r1-forum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36192
Look at how the button mounts. Run the wires back to the relay.

Here is a video of it on a car. I have the motorcycle version. The only difference is the size of the plate (obviously smaller for bikes instead of cars), and the bike version only needs one solenoid, while the car version has 2.

This is really easy to do. The entire plate is self-contained. If you follow the instructions that come with it, and augment the instructions with these, it should only take you about and hour to do it. It's really that simple.
Here is where to get the kit. http://www.plateflipper.com

That is so cool, so James Bond. You should do a fake plate under with stickers maybe. That way whoever might be looking will just take a blink and maybe think they hadn't really seen anything unusual!
