:hellobye Anybody here with a 99Red R1 polished their wheels and left the spokes black?Could you please post a pic as I was thinking of doing mine and wanted to know what it would look like first.:rock

Hey what about sandblasting, would that work? I got my rims powdered coated yellow last year but I got the blue R1 and wanted to get the rims silver and thought about getting them sand blasted

Do you still have the yellow wheels??????????? It takes a chemical process to remove powder coating if I remember correctly. I am interested in some yellow wheels or just wheels with yellow spokes

No someone pulled out in front of me last year and my bike got trashed bad! Had to sell it for parts and the bad thing about it is when I got the rims put back on, two days later the wreck happened but they looked sweet on the red bike. With the new bike I just want them polished silver.
