Anyone feel a poping noise/feeling in there 2002 R1 in the handle bars when u go over small bumps at small speed? I seem to feel it some when i first hit the front brake at low speed too. Feels like the forks are loose or sloopy. Do i need to tighten something or look at something? Its not that bad , It might be normal ,but i dont remember feeling it before. Maybe ill just take it in to my FINE OUTSTANDING ( cough cough) Yamaha service dept and let them look at it! Thanks in advance for any info!!

Fixed it .........I think!! I took it to my WONDERFULL yammmy dealer and they acted like I was F%@#&*$ stupid and didnt know what I was feeling. So I told them they were probably right and since they are sooooooo helpful and everything but it wasnt doing it for the first 1100 miles I put on it! Their reply was well.....its probably getting the fronk forks broken in. So I said I hope you guys are right after all its under warranty and you guys get to fix it if it isnt! So they brought their suspension Guru out to talk to me. He, by the way, was alot nicer and more helpfull than the smartazz service manager! He suggested that I might have a missaligned front wheel by a hard hit or hard landing... HA HA!! He took it back and loosend the front wheel hub assembly and restraightned it for me. He told me he felt it pop back in when he loosened the screws. So this made me feel alot better and I thanked him for his trouble since he was the only one that treated me like a valued customer not a 16 year old kid!! ANYWAY.........that all seemed to take the poping feeling over the small bumps out !!! :rock So I hope this helps you guys if you have the same problem and maybe wont have to deal with dickhead service managers:mad:
