Anyone using or heard any reports on the Power Commander III for the 2002 R1. is it worth the money ? Thx !

I know a friend that got a Power Commander for his Gsx-R750 and he said taht the bike got a lot stronger.

But, I'm not suer you'll get the same result with the R1 because the '02 R1 seems to have a flawless FI from factory.
But, might be that you can improve the curve if you add some performance products.

Does the PC have to be hooked up to the bike all the time or can it be programed and then removed? I'm assuming it must be hooked up all the time or else we could all share one:crash

Got mine...

I got mine today for my 02 R1 :jump It took about 20 min to install, I have not taken it out yet but I plan to tomorrow.
