Just curious, but where can I find information on public and/or insurance auctions for motorcycles? Will I need to obtain a special 'dealer' license and/or permit?

there are a few companies that sell wrecked bikes, but to actually buy a wrecked bike at a salvage auction you have to be a registered salvage dealer with a salvage license....people with dealer's licenses can usually buy from a salvage auction as long as the bike has a good (green) title....the best deals can be found @....
your friends garage, after he wrecks his bike...buy it back, don't let the insurance company have the title, it will stay clean...

bank repos that are laid over or something, they tend to have clean titles, and usually go really cheap, check your local bank, especially this time of year...
