Hey guys if I changed the slip on to a yoshimura RS-3 race pipe then do i have to change the jets on the carb?

i have been told that you don't have to, but i'm still very unfamiliar with this area, other board members will be of more help.

i am still "window shopping" for an aftermarket slip on and have not heard anyone give major comments on the yoshi pipe. once you install it, let us know what you think. i am particulary concerned with the sound.

I have that pipe and I didn't make any jetting changes. I did have to change the idle. Outside of that...on the Yoshi...I haven't seen any need for jetting. Then again every bike is different.

Ive had the pipe on for about 3 months. As far as I'm concerned the pipe sounds great. Not to loud and not too quiet. When you reach the top RPMs then its sounds mean. :rock
