Hey everyone its been a while since ive contributed to the forum,
I have a quick question about bringing the bike out after winter storage.

This would be the first time that I have had to store my bike away in an shed ( moved away from a heated garage:( ) and I have one main problem.

Over the duration of the winter the PSI in my tires have significantly gone down cuza the cold air,,, thus which brings me to my problem... the weather is becoming better and better each and everyday and I need to do something about this air pressure thing,,, there is soo little air in the tires that there isnt any reading on my PSI gauge.
It would be extrememly stupid of me to ride to the closest air hose even if its only a 5 min ride.
So am I suck with having to call a tow to come pick my bike up?:cryin

Go down to the store and get an air pump or better yet get an air compressor :rock

Go to Wal-Mart and buy you a mini air compressor in the automotive section. It will cost you maybe fifteen bucks and will plug into your cigarette lighter in your truck. It may take a few minutes to air it up, but this little device is very handy to have around. It is well worth the small amount it costs. You can also buy one at Sears, or any automotive place.

DO NOT:bash get your bike towed!!! THey will wreck your cosmetics when lifting it up in the strap. Trust me - I know from one of my accidents. The bike faired better in the accident then from being towed!!

Buy a plug in air compressor or one of those little compressor tanks you can fill up at the gas station that do not require voltage..- save yourself the tow!!!

you can buy a pressure tank for about $45. They can take up to 150lbs of pressure I think. You just take it to the local service station and fill it. You can leave it in your shed and it shouldn't take up to much space.
