Honestly, arent we all tired of these comparos? I mean its all good to wonder, but brand loyalty will always cloud ones judgement, and most of us dont care anyway. I dont care what you ride, if you are riding with me we'll have a good time. I got my opinions and tastes, that's why I ride the R-1.

Besides, I think the R-1 would get the space shuttle in top end power:D :D

okay kneedragger, what's that piece of hardware you're holding in your avatar?

It's not clear enough for me to make out.

Is that thing legal in the US, or are you in the military?

Rambo!

Its a M249 Squad Automatic Weapon (saw). Pumps out 5.56mm Rounds so fast you'll have shot up 200 rounds before you know it...

Yea, I'm in the Army.

M249

It jams even faster than that. C'mon, you've actually gotten 200 uninterupted rounds out of it at once?! Saws are pieces of shite. Hope you're carring a pistol too. :D

Just kidding.

ha ha

Yea, firing blanks it jams and is definitely as piece of shiesse. However, in real world fashion its A-OK. While firing at the range recently, had to burn up some excess ammo. Hooked 2 belts together and proceeded to fire 400 rounds in 3 to 6 round bursts no problem. THat was AFTER everyone had gotten through qualifing too.

Its a good piece of hardware. Lets put it this way, I'd rather carry that into combat than the M-16 Pea shooter. Now if I had the option of the 249 or the "hog", (M-60), I'd take the 60 any day.:thumbup
