Does anyone have the performance specs on the new '04 R6? I cant seem to find it anywhere, i found some info on the '03 but heard the '04 has been improved?

its pretty much the same bike, just with the fuel injection revamped a bit. The 03 performance specs will be about the same as the 04.

Remapped fuel injection for improved response throughout the powerband.
Larger volume exhaust canister for improved exhaust flow at high rpm.
New-design 120/60-ZR17 front and 180/55-ZR17 rear Dunlop radial tires deliver excellent grip.

I saw the info on the '03 as fallowing:
1/4- 10.80
Top Speed- 158MPH
Im not sure but i thought i read somewhere that the '04's were:
1/4- 10.65
Top Speed- 165
I dont know what the other times were as far as 0-60 and what not.....
I was just currious because i swear i read somewhere thats what it was.

lol who cares how fast the bikes go in a quarter mile...unless you are drag racing it. if you try that shit on the street you either going to get a very big ticket or a very painful roadrash.
Also the top speed doesnt even matter....racers hardly ever get past 150 MPH on the 600s. And since both model years can do over 150 MPH..i dont think you have anything to worry about.

I know it doesn't really matter all though i will take it to the track when i get some experience under my belt. I was just currious, when i get currious it bugs the heck out of me until i find out.

BTW, how fast does the R6 reach 150MPH? There i go being currious again, lol I have often wonderd if my '86 T/A (slightly modded 350 TPI) could take it on from a roll.
