Hi there, I have attempted to fit an alarm with remote starting, to my 2001 R1, the alarm part is working fine, but the start side, is proving difficult, I can get the ignition to come on with the remote, but I cant find witch wire to tap into on the starter solenoid, I have a block connector going into the solenoid with two 30 amp fuses, two permanent live wires and then two more wires that also become live as soon as I turn the ignition, one of the wires stops being live if I press the start button on the R1?s handle bars, what I need to know is witch wire do I tap into with the starter wire from the remote ?
The remote start button normally needs to be pressed twice to operate the starter, as I have said, the alarm does bring on the ignition and sends a live feed to the starter wire on the remote.
