Hi everyone,
Hit a snag swapping out the clutch cable on the 5VY. Can’t figure out how to release the black retaining clip that’s attached to the rad cooling fan.
As far as I can figure, I need to remove this as I can’t pass the old or new cable through whilst on the bike.
can anyone point me in the right direction?

There ahould be a release tab on there. Push it and it should open.

Yeah it's like a zip tie . You want to disengage the teeth that are keeping it zipped together . Tab should rock so that it disengages the little teeth then slide open.
