Did anyone see the article in the May 2002 issue? They hated the 954 and the ZX9. So it came down to the GSX-R and the R1. Essentially, they gave it to the Suzuki because of the horsepower advantage (149 v. 135). They hated all the bikes' suspensions, especially the 954's. They did say the R1's suspension was a large improvement over previous models. Pretty much a negative article all the way around, perfect for potty-time reading... :butt
