As the article mentioned, it is consistency that is killing him this year... 3 DNF's and the last race really hurt. Give him 4th in those four races (reasonable IMO) and he right in the hunt...
That would put him in the championship lead at 177. I guess that is why they run the races.
But as I (and many others) have mentioned before, there is nothing scarier than a Marquez willing to take a second place instead of binning it... Going to be tough for VR46 to catch up this year unless MM gets back to his old habits of win it or bin it...
