Could somebody tell me how to get this friggin seat off my 05 R1. I feel like a dumb a$$ but cant figure it out and its really screwing with my head......

lift up the rear corners of the seat and might be some allen screws, unless the 05 is different than my 02, then I dont know.

2 allen bolts on the rear corners of the seat. In the manual as well.

the tips on the rear of the seat are flexible, you have to hold them out of the way of the allen wrench as you unscrew the bolts

I believe its a 5MM allen wrench too.

no you have to take the tank off first and remove the fuel pump to get to it..its a pain in the a$$ in the 05.

but don't you have to remove the two allen bolts to make space to remove the tank ???
