07-08 doesnt have 2 injectors per cylinder like new busa or gsxr1ks. its single injector at new angle with different spray pattern. it has adjustable stocks and fly by wire.

pics of injectors and throttle bodies.. cant see injectors.. but theres only one per cyl.. one fuel rail for them.

okay pulled microfiche online. here is parts breakdown.. only 1 injector per cylinder.


but on new busa and gsxrs the 2nd injectors come on under hard acceleration after like 8k rpms. there just safety and only come on when extra fuel is needed. some guys use 2 powercommander to control them. tho they cant make them come on in lower rpms. ECU controls that.

I'm pretty sure that the new 08R6 has them which makes me think they will make that change for the 08R1 as well.

08 R1 is same as 07.. have them on showroom and no changes to it. maybe for 09 r1 will change over to 2.. but for now just single set. and really on other brands that have them.. as long as duty cycle is not maxxed out then no reason to have 2 sets. most of others on other brands only come on under full throttle at higher rpms.. they really act like a accelerator pump.
