Unfortunately i have to sell my bike guys.I don't want to but don't have a choice really.It's something i need to do to clear a few debts and organise my finances.

But don't despair i have bought a 2000 DR 650 that has supermotard wheels on it so that i can still work when i get my licence back in May and that also means i can still come along on rides and give ya's hell until i can afford something faster.

I'm selling the steering damper and muffler separately.

Below are the details if anyone is interested.

Yoshi tri-oval titanium slip on muffler-$650.00

Ohlins top mount steering damper-$650.00

Stock 02 R1 red/white/black 44000 k's with some cosmetic damage-$10,750.00.

As far as asking $10,750 for an 02 R1..thats CHEAP!!:yesnod Normal price for an 02/03 is around $12-$14g:scared

Best of luck with the sale Pete,Im sure for that price you'll have it sold in no time. Hopefully you're able to sort out your :dollar probs,and will be back on a REAL bike in no time:thumbup

Sorry Jack i tried to reply to your pm last night but kept getting mucked around when i hit the send it would take forever and then eventually the computer would say cannot find server.I typed two replies and it wouldn't send them so i gave up.

Has ayone else had this problem,is it a problem with the site or my computer i have no idea.I have also been having the same trouble when replying to a post,it just takes forever and then the cannot find server crap pops up again.

Anyway i did manage to send you a reply tonight and also an email just to make sure.

When do you think you'll find out if your bike is a write off as i'm kinda in a hurry to get rid of it.I haven't advertised it yet cause i thought i would give people on here a change to reply first .

I think the thing i'll miss most about not having a sports bike for a while is the Phillip Island track days.......ohhh well.

The dampner is sold but i still have the can.I noticed a small ding in the connecting pipe that you can't really see when it's on the bike.It's near where the pipe passes by the swingarm so i'm willing to drop the price down to $550.If you are willing to pay for the postage to Sydney then it's yours.

I know it's been a while i've been in the area a couple time during work but haven't had time to stop by for a visit.

As you can see i'm selling my R1 and i'll be on a DR650 motard for a while till i get my shit together and am able to afford another sportsbike.That won't be for another 12 to 18 months so i have no idea what i'll end up buying.

What about you when are you picking up your 04 R1?
