I know Korea has a lot of mountains. But I would not recommend riding your bike there. Coming from a Korean-American that visited Korea...Koreans are crazy ass drivers....you think Los Angeles and New Yorkers are bad....Koreans are ruthless...other than that I think the roads are pretty good....

I was stationed there, well Kunsan AB, for a year. They are absolutely [email protected] CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Out of city limits is a little better, but I think you would spend more time worrying about everybody else than enjoying the ride...

Ofcourse if it was too bad for ya, you could spend the year modding it!!!

I was stationed at Humphrey's for four years. I wouldn't take my bike to ride on the road but I think they have opened a track in Korea. Search the Forum.

I did 2 years at Camp Greaves on the DMZ & been as south as Seoul... I would NEVER / EVER ride any sportbike over there - just save up & mod the crap out of it when you get back...

I dont think you can even buy sportbikes in Korea...

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO don't do it man ! i was at Camp Casey , they are terrible drivers , some what like the Iraq's , plus not too many good roads , just go get some really cheap clothing made , those people can make ANYTHING , exactly the way you want it , and all they would need is a picture of what it is you want ! Get some custom leathers made , oh yeah and save up for mods ! GOOD LUCK !

1 guy on this forum had one shipped and has now sold it. The mountain roads are nice but not great for riding. They have these sections of rough then smooth sections about a foot wide before a curve. They were in the middle of constructing a track for an F1 event. Don't know if they ever completed it.
