Can anyone tell me where to get the best quality, best looking short stalk signals, and how do they attach to the fairing??, do they use the same hardware as the factory signals, the rubber piece that fits snug in the opening? Thanks in advance guys,

Short Stalk

I just put Lockheart Philips Short Stalk III on my 01.
They look great, but I had to make plastic parts to cover the holes left from the original lights. I used what was left-over from cutting the rear fender. They were only $15/set.

Stupid question maybe- but what does 'short stalk' mean? I'm looking for some L.E.D rear blinkers for my '08.

The ones I got with the compwerks where incandescant bulbs that come off after each ride.

Also...your best bet for making aftermarket indicators flash at the correct rate, is a flasher relay. I got an Accumen one, but a few different companies offer them.

Thanks CARBON- I already installed a Custom L.E.D relay- I'm on eghey looking for rear indicators as I got Greggs on the front- only think that confuses me is the terms "short stalk" what does that mean as not all of them say that?

Short stalk just means that the stem that comes out from the bike to the led is shorter. Think about your stock front turn signals that stick out of the fairings being shorter (sticking out less from the fairing).

By the way...check out Rizomas range of indicators, they do a bunch of different styles. Not my cup o' tea, but they do look flash (which is important for an indicator!:lol).
