Not sure what your tax is in AL - but it doesnt seem to add up...at 8800 retail and 9100 out the door thats less than 4% tax.

That leaves no room for dealer prep, title and license fees, freight etc...

Not that I am doubting you - just wondering how you did it?

I have a 2002 on order - any day now it will be in and I bought it for 9500.

Any info you can provide to help a brother out is appreciated...no reason to spend more money than you have to...!

I believe the $750 cash back relates to their 2.9% for one year financing deal, if you apply and receive a Yamaha credit card. If you finance using the credit card you may receive up to $750 worth of accessories (between $200 and $750). However, the $750 is only available on certain models. I've been told that the R1 isn't one of them.

even if it was....

that deal is a scam bro - they give you 3.99% for a few months than rape you with 16.99% or something like that - do the math - even with 750 back, try making their "ethical" minimum payments - if you were to make the minimum payments throughout the life of the loan, it would take you something like 48 years and 70,000 dollars to do it - so ridiculous! Obviously you wouldn't make minimum payments, but even if you prepay, they still make more money. The best thing going on the R1 is the 8.99% through yammie credit - than you can dump it after 1 month into a 2.99% introductory rate and the best part is yamaha sends you the title without a lean! thats a great deal

Damn those are some cheap prices:finger
The dealer 2 miles from me is selling the silver ones for 11 grand firm and you still can't get one because all 5 that they ordered are reserved! I just put a down payment on a silver one today:D 200 miles away and in another state, I got it for 10 grand (they don't have it yet so I called in a cc # to hold it). Just curious, can anyone give me a breakdown of the extras that are added and how much $ (other than tax). I know a title is in there somewhere, but what' s that cost for a new bike?
