I just put a down on my 2002 R1, silver is course. I kind of lucked out, I had tried to buy 2001 but the Shop I was dealing with got shorted on 2001's. They felt bad and said they would give me a 2002 at dealer cost if I wanted it. That was a no Brianer. They are only getting 2 silver ones. Have any of you guys seen the "shark" helmets ?, my girlfriend bought me one that matches the 02's paint scheme exactly. I think they made this helmet just for the silver R1. It'll be a nice switch for me going to yamaha, My last bike was a Kawi zx7 rr and I've got a Cr 250 in the garage. :crash
How many of you guys are putting a 2002 between you legs come March ?

March is what they said for delivery up here in the frozen waste land Canada is a little later delivery that the U.S. . We don't normally get to ride in Manitoba until at least April so I'll be parking the baby in front of the big screen and sit on it when I'm watching speed vision:rock
