ok today im in spanish and were talking sports(in spanish) when i get into this fight with my teacher over what a sport is. i say "sport biking is definently a sport" and she replies with "all you do is twist the throttle there is no way just riding around can be a sport" we keep going like this for about five minutes when i tell her off and end up getting detention how f u c ked up is that:bs

Maybe describing the physics involved in racing would help. Most of the top racers go through a serious physical training regimen. To counter the effects of g-forces, racers are almost constantly flexing their legs, arms, and upper bodies. Hanging off, the racing tuck, hard acceleration and braking takes its toll over the span of a race. Add to that a huge shot of adrenaline and by the end of a race, you've probably burned 1,500 calories.
I've done some track days at Summit Point where the heat was around 90 degrees, wore my ass out...
