My front brakes started squeaking, so I checked them out and they were about due for some new ones. I replaced them with Galpher pads and they damn things are still making noise. Any solutions to this?

Soak the rotor in wd-40 and let them set for an hour or so. Then go ride, be very careful till you burn the lube off.
Another guy told me this and I though he was blowing smoke up my a$$. Just doesn't sound right to me lol.

The 40 just glazes over the pads to reduce noise but reduces stopping power as well.
I don't believe that WD-40 has enough oil to do that. It's much more of a cutting oil IMO that would get rid of excess build up and thus allowing the pads to re-seat in. Just my $0.02:dundun:
