Should i worry about the stock rearsets snapping?
I have already changed the peg bolts and am in the process of getting some new pegs.
I'm a bit paranoid.

Johnny, where did you get the bolts and what size are they? Way to many stories about them and one confirmation from a friend that I ride with.

I just replaced the bolts on mine and have been fine so far. I don't really worry about it as I rarely stand on them anyway...

I just replaced mine too, with a hard rockwell rating, 39-44, and a high tensile stregth 175,000 psi, it has a class rating of 12.9.

Do you guys think that will hold up against bouncing standup wheelies?

m8x 30mm, i used a socket head cap screw, but you can do hex head or button head.
The stock bolts are 35mm long - not 30mm
8mm diameter
1.25 thread pitch

I have a whole box of 12.9's if anyone needs some

Is 35mm the length starting from under the head or is that the overall length? I swear I bought 30 mm that were the same exact body length, maybe I overlooked it.

All bolts are measured from under the head of the bolt to the tip.

The stock bolts that I've seen have all been 35mm long - not to say that Yamaha might have used some shorter ones at one time or another:D
