Ok guys im thinkin about gettin a tattoo. It will be my first one, so i dont know much about them. Here in oklahoma they are illegal so im gonna have to go outta state to get one and i dont want to go right across the OK/AR border cause i hear they use crappy ink and charge you outrageous prices. As far as the tattoo itself Im leaning towards some sort of chinese symbols. I looked all over google for the symbol of leadership or leader. something along those lines is what i would like but i want to know what it looks like first.

thanks guys:hellobye

I had a very serious highside once in 2000, and my suit saved my life. i had a dainese K 1 piece. i thought of tatooing a tiny Dainese logo on my arm (somewhere between my wrist and elbow) red logo with black borders. i still haven't done it. am tempted.

something about not being able to mark your body with any permanent. im not sure, there are people here that are trying to get rid of the law since they can be removed nowdays.

They aren't illegal in oklahoma, just illegal to have a tattoo parlor and actually do them in oklahoma. Its because oklahoma had a really bad outbreak or hepatitis because of tattoo'ing, so they made a law to outlaw it, and they have just never repealed it.

Be ABSOLUTELY sure that what you get is what you want. Sure, you can always cover it up or have it removed but that's a pain, and covering may limit your options. Also, make sure that what you get is something you will like years down the line. I have a buddy who has full sleeves, full back, chest, and most legs done. He does regret one or two, but most are beautiful works of art. What I'm saying is, with someone who is really into the art, he even made a few quick choices. Check these links out for some ideas.

R1 forum member dream_of_1 wanted a tattoo that proclaimed his manliness, so he decided to get the Chinese characters for “strength” and “honor” on his chest. After 20 minutes under the needle of local tattoo artist Andy Sakai, he emerged with the symbol for “small penis” embedded in his flesh.

“I had it for months before I knew what it really meant,” dream_of_1 said.
