Putting my R1 up for the winter, pulled the airfilter out to check if it needed replaced. Didn't look too dirty really. But whats concerning me is the corrugations (don't know what else to call it) are all wavey. All the airfilters I've ever seen have been nice and straight. Filter has 10k on it. Never noticed it before and was wondering if it's somehow deteriorating or something and if I should replace it.

Where do you live?Could be a combination of moisture and heat.Or could just be the way the filter was from the factory.

I've seen plenty of them like that. Nothing to worry about.

Important thing is no passage of dirt.
