I think it's good you got a new valve even though they cost stupidly much.

From what i've read and heard it can be some problem recoating used Ti valves, don't know if that's true but why risk it?

Can't say anything about the quality of the new valve other than if it's OEM it hopefully should be ok.

Are you using the old valves?

Havn't done compression test but now and then i do leakdown test on each cylinder.

Once (at 85000km) i changed the piston rings because they were worn.
Intake valves have never leaked, exhaust valves i've lapped once but it didn't take much to get them tight..

I havn't heard of any lifespan restrictions for the valves so i've kept them.
Did a complete teardown almost a year ago, except for the generator :)
Meassured them and there where absolutely no wear and tear(?!)

Of course, i can't meassure material fatigue so maybe i'm pushing the limit?

Haha, i think it's partly luck, since those engines had a couple of bits and pices that wasn't that good in some engines, i probably got a "good one" :)

I've driven it most of the time on road, if it was a track bike constantly on redline things most probably would be different.

Other then that, no extra oil changes, just the ones stated by service schedule..

I don't think it makes a difference but i've only used Motul 7100 and OEM oilfilter.
They arn't bad but not the only good on the market either..

How's your engine build progressing?

Thanks.
I do it on Sundays. Now the engine is completely disassembled. I checked the crankshaft bearings, because the oil filter was pierced with old scale of the cr.bearings.

About the valves. I bought the cylinder head with of
10000km. But there was a broken valve(intake).
I just took the 15valves from there.
Idea of the recover valves for next winter.
