Howdy -- My R1 has been sitting for a while and it's time for a carb clean. I have to compile a complete (yet minimal... the guy will say he "has allen keys and sockets..." but I want to make sure he has exactly what I'll need ) set of tools before I head up north to work on the bike, and I'm trying to figure out what I'll need to do the work.

Any advice much appreciated.

I've attached a picture of the procedure for removing carbs in order to help with this request (manual on kindle is awesome). Thanks !

there's a how to thread on cleaning and rebuilding carbs. One really helpful tool is a sonic cleaner.
