The Central Texas Motorcycle Racing Association (CMRA) is coming to Texas World Speedway March 13-14, which is only 1 mile from where I live :fire. I really wanted to go last year, but didn't have the cash to buy the necessary leathers :cryin. I really don't have it right now either, but I really want to go . Does anyone have any suggestion on how I could get some decent leathers, boots, gloves without paying too much :dunno. I'm just doing the class and don't plan on racing as of yet. I saw some Teknic Chicanes for around 350 or so. Man, I really want to go. :riding

Some tracks will rent you leathers, you could see if your track will.

I just found someone who rents leathers. Unfortunately, the trackday is sold out. So I'm going to miss out; probably better for my budget right now anyway. I'm going to register for the April date.

I have some Field Sheer leathers that I am thinking about selling,, I purchased them used,, "like new" and have had them about two years,, I have only wore them three times and not at all last summer,,, they have never been down.... They are size 46 US... I am 6' and weigh about 180 and they fit just fine,, No idea what they are worth but if your interested I'll send you some pics and we can figure out the rest,,
