I went to the linksys website and they have 3 diffrent versions of my wireless router. The model number is WRT54G but they have v1, 1.1, and 2.
The firmware currently on my router is 1.4something.
So what is the one that I need to download

Oh yeah.. the CD it came with list it as WRT54G v2.0 so does that mean that I download the v2?

I would go with the v2 since your CD says that. And note that down on the router somewhere. CDs tend to get lost!

FYI...

WRT54G v2 means that your router/hardware itself is "Revision 2", it's two completely different thing with your firmware version. So when you do a search for firmware, just look for "WRT54G -- Wireless-G Broadband Router v2" here:

***EDIT/ADDED: Just make sure your router is really v2 though, cause that update will only work on v2. You current firmware is 1.4x, right? You can read more about the update here:
