Group Buys and Vendor Purchasing Sections Policy and Guidelines.

With the increasing popularity of the R1-forum.com and the size that the site it getting is became apparent that this policies for this section should be updated for everyone to see. This post will become a "Sticky" post at the top of the section for members to refer to when posting. The intent of this thread is not to put restrictions on any purchases that are at a discount but to protect the interests of the vendors who pay to sponsor this site and support it. It's simply not fair at all for a paying sponsor to have to compete with a non-paying sponsor who comes to the site with the sole intent of soliciting sales without supporting the site. Potential sponsors of the R1-forum.com are welcome to contact [email protected] to setup a sponsorship package with the forum that best suits the needs of there company and the forum along with it's members.

First and foremost, any "Group Purchase" or "Discount Buy" can only be transacted through a paid advertiser of the forum.

Does this mean members can't start group purchases? Not at all, but the GP must be setup through a paid advertiser.

Any post made containing information on a Group Purchase being handled by a company who is not a paying advertiser of this site will be locked or moved to a section that will preserve the posts. A company attempting to set up or promote a Group Purchase without being a paying advertiser of this site is subject to being billed for services at full rate automatically. If a vendor is willing to make a profit from this site, they should be willing to step up and become an advertiser and give back to the site that is helping them make the profit. Just remember that if a vendor is telling you that they will sell something discounted and WANT YOU to outsource for more people that you are soliciting for that vendor and in the instant they are more then welcome to become a supporting asset to the community.

Best Regards and thanks!

The R1-Forum.com staff.
