I have a Shoei and the pads don't come out. How can I get them clean? I've heard of people taking them in the shower but wanted to check with you guys before actually trying it.

Depends on which Shoei model you have. I know mine, the RF-900 doesn't have removable interior pads. Majority of Arai's I think have removable liners. The way I clean mine is using that helmet liner cleaner/deodorizer I picked up at the motorcycle accessory shop.
