Ok so I started my 07 r1 up today. Started ok. I gave it a few rev’s and noticed when I revved it the Speedo went from zero up in numbers as if I was riding. Very confusing as I was stationary. Any ideas on what it could be would be massively appreciated.

Was the rear tire on a stand, off the ground?

No not at all. It was just on the side stand. Have just put the back wheel back on though?

Have you tried disconnecting the battery for a couple minutes then starting it up again? Thats probably first thing i would do.

Or could be your flux capacitor went out
