Oh, man, where do I begin...
Renthal grips
Bar end sliders
Galfer SS brake lines
Brake pads
Rear brake reservoir "delete"
Zero Gravity SR windscreen
Motodynamic Integrated Tail Light
Fender eliminator
Plus a few odds and ends to tidy up worn or rusted bits

Finally got the engine on my zombie build to work!

- got a new crankcase and xferred all internals into it.
- old cylinder head just kept leaking at the inlet manifold, though valves sat properly and clearance was fine. Cleaned up a head and xferred all the valves from old head into it.

Still got a list of issues to fix:
- intermittent code 19
- fuel pump doesn't start unless you wiggle the connector on the solenoid switch
- mid pipe doesn't line up with exhaust header
Speedo doesn't work
- brake disks I have from 07 or 06. Don't allow front calipers to fit
Fuel level indicator keeps flashing
- right shock needs to be leveled with triple
- need to sort out exhaust so I can fit -radiator and see how cooling works.
- need to install new brake pads
- need to bleed all brakes
- need to take delivery of and install new rear Tyre
- need to look for an acceptable looking pillion seat
- tank and trunk lock are stuck and wont turn with key.
It's gonna be a fun upcoming weekend.

Bike is almost done!

intermittent code 19:
fixed. opened ignition and sanded terminals

- fuel pump doesn't start unless you wiggle the connector on the solenoid switch:
fixed. Replaced switch and harness connector

- mid pipe doesn't line up with exhaust header:
not fixed. Took of slipons and was able to adjust y pipe enough to fix clamp on header. Still leaks a bit.

Speedo doesn't work :
Fixed. Broken connection on harness side of 3pin speed sensor connection.

- brake disks I have from 07 or 06. Don't allow front calipers to fit:
Not fixed. Fabricating spacers

Fuel level indicator keeps flashing:
Fixed. Cleaned the F out of the sensor.

- right shock needs to be leveled with triple:
Fixed.

- need to sort out exhaust so I can fit -radiator and see how cooling works. :
Done. No leaks. Yay!

- need to install new brake pads:
Done

- need to bleed all brakes:
Done. Pain in the @$$. nipple head was stripped. Had to replace master. Now I can't get levers off old master.

- need to take delivery of and install new rear Tyre:
Done

- need to look for an acceptable looking pillion seat:
Done. But ordered a red seat for it anyways

- tank and trunk lock are stuck:
Fixed. Took all the teeth off the inside of the locks. I'm never gonna be stuck 30 mins at the gas station, knocking on my fuel tank for to open.

Ran into new issues (bouncing idle, rear indicator light blowing indicator fuse). Fixed the bouncing idle, but still got no clue about the lights.

Mounted fog lamps, but need to get an electrician from the shop to hook it up.

Discovered I have the same carbon frame covers as @DarkHorse has in his blue rebuild, but mine are faded to death. Going to YouTube to see how to restore them.

Now, I need to get the bike out of the living room so my wife stops treating me like a dead.... something.

I think the bike is gonna be ready to take out this coming weekend. 20190415_055739.jpg IMG-20190414-WA0002.jpg 20190414_183705.jpg

Got the brake lines today and fitted, i am so tantalising close now. Lot has changed on the bike, can't wait to see if i have wasted my money. The trouble is i never has a go on it when it was totally oem. So hard for me to say, but looking forward to riding it soon.
Thanks to 2MuchbluE for all his help with the build, it was greatly appreciated

Nice work Tony, what is the brake sensor for? I changed the clutch arm and you was right it is a heavy leaver now, but if it solves the neutral problem with the Yoyodyne I will leave it, if not i will put the 14b arm on again..
Aldo put grippers on the tank extender now decided to keep it plus a Twm clutch perch with folding leaver. Will take it for a little test today.

After taking in a yard of dirt from my slide I’ve had the bike basically down to bare bones to clean it. Finished all the upgrades I had for now, so I’ve started the bodywork prep and repair.

Brembo RCS
Woodcraft case covers
Coremoto ABS delete lines
Rear resiv delete
Driven TT rear sets
SBS pads
Woodcraft Clipons
New grips
Zeta brake lever guard
Safety wire prep
Some Ti bits
Cleaning cleaning cleaning ugh.

Now it’s sanding and bondo, then a full flat black paint job, and finally new graphics kit with race numbers. I’m so excited since this upcoming season will be my first for racing. I’m gitty like a school girl. I will admit this has been a few week process, def not today. Today was all bodywork prep which I have no pics of because who cares what sanded bodywork looks like :lol

Next will be suspension, prob for Christmas I’ll treat myself to K-Tech DDS.

Inspection day after 2 years of storage. Need to pressurize forks with nitrogen. Nothing leaking. Not bad for a 15 year old bike with 45k miles. Still sexy as ever.
