You all done great jobs there, my skills are more mechanical and engineering, but now I always have a go at other jobs just takes longer but results can be quite rewarding plus satisfying. I think I have learnt more patience as I have got older.
The crazy thing is how much I paid for that Hong Kong faring, £249 which came painted and that included shipping, and the paint and fitting was amazing. I will always regret taking the bike on track with the oem gear on but I only marked three panels.
The Hong Kong faring came with every bit of black plastic bag too, which was handy as the black panel in front of the levers and the air intake too was damaged . Also it is an excat replica of the road faring, I did have to clean a couple of holes with the drill but it was almost a perfect fit. Some race farings I have fitted in the past have been a lot worse fit.
If I were racing that would be commit the R1 to the track only and take all the road gear off, but as I only use it for trackdays in Europe mostly Spain and with the Covid situation, I just would not get much use out of it.
Here's a few pics with its Hong Kong faring and one as it was with oem one before I damaged it in Spain.
It is nearly finished besides the PFM and clip-on mounted thumb brake, but it is proving a problem with the switch gear, I may sell it and get a fork mounted one.

Pimped the M! 😎
Then gave it a good wash at a detailing shop, and put it away for this season, as it's snowing in Norway🥶

Think it came out pretty good. Espessally the winglets carbon air ducts 😁

A lot of my track friends say that too. It is always a last resort for them to go with me

Just a quick question. How do you like the front spoilers?

I think they look freaking awsome, and get lots of comments on them. 😎 Gives that little ekstra "mad" look. As far as preformance i dont think they do any big difference to the street rider 😅
