One of my bulbs are out and it's time to replace them. I love the way the current ones work and look, but to be honest I haven't taken them out to see what they are. What does everyone else use? It's an 01 R1

they are h4, you can get some pretty nice xenon bulbs for about 10 on ebay or 20 through local auto parts place. Or HID kits are around $100 now a days.

I blind people and get flashed all the time now....do the HIDs make it worse?

I've seen alot of ebay bulbs and didn't know if they were going to be good, or just pianted blue.

Sylvania "Silver Stars" are great bulbs. They offer a slightley bluish/White light. They are about 4800 Kelvan if I remember. I run them in a few bikes I have. AutoZone sells them the cheapest that I've found.
