How do you keep that area clean with no cover on there?

Actually it's easier to keep clean without a cover. I use a paintbrush and compressed air.

you have to spray it / wipe it down once in a while with some wd-40 and a rag.. would be a good habbit to get into every oil change. found a pic of my bike with the greggs installed. I'll try and take one with the mikuni in a couple days.

I have checked everywhere on the internet to try and find someone who sells the Mikuni but I don't think it's available. Yoyodyne used to have them for $130usd but they have discontinued them for the 98-03 R1's. Just wanted to get an idea of what it was worth. I bought it used and beat up. Had to sand and polish the hell out of it.

Anyone got this cover installed on the bike? Curious on how it looks on the bike.

So if you going to keep both, use the one till its all dirty.Then fit the other one while you cleaning the first one .
both are good.
