Hello all I figured I'd share my experience with wildbikes.com in hopes nobody else is scammed. I saw a TV commercial which seemed like a good deal $9.99 for two movies. Before I get into detail of how they are a bad company, let me first say that the movie which was paid for is pretty bad. Most of the footage is repetitive and POORLY edited. It was making me sick after a while. The "free" movie "Judgement Day 2" was ALOT better and entertaining I admit it, however I have seen much of this footage on trailers throughout the net.

Just yesterday I received another package. Maybe they sent me two orders I thought? Not quite. Another movie was packaged along with an invoice charging $25.98. The following was written at the bottom "Thank you for being a Wild Bikes VIP. Your next order will be charged and shipping on 11/20/2005". Oh really? Becuase I'm a ViP member my credit card is charge montly without my knowledge. (By the way, in order to purchase the DVDs advertised you had to create an account with the web site). I called up the 800 to address this issue. After speaking with the customer service, the lady told me a 'pop up' window was displayed informing me about the monthly movies. (Gee that's funny, 90% of internet users use pop up blockers. I guess this was done purposely, hence I never saw this window) If the video was unopened they said I could return the movie less the shipping charge. So I have to get stuck paying the shipping because I received a movie I did not want. I now have to dispute this charge with the credit card company which is more time out of my day.

I figured I'd bring this to everyone's attention so they do not make the same mistake, nor support this company. It's a bad way to conduct business. I'll be posting this scenario on various boards as well as filing complaints against this company.

A heads up to all.

Drive safe.

thats actually a pretty common practice with many mail order items....they figure, most people are too lazy to cancel their orders and what not and generally just get suck with paying out the extra cash. pretty smart on their part, but sucks for the general consumer.
